Back to India and preparing for Guru Purnima
16th July, India. Finally Maharaj Ji accompanied by Swami Ji & Sadhvi Ji reached back this morning. This year they spent almost double time in Canada as compared to past two years. They mainly visited London (not in England but in Canada itself), Toronto and Vancouver region. They visited many Gurudwaras, Temples and Yoga Centers there in addition to family gatherings at different people. Interview at ATN & Sur Sagar T.V. & Red FM radio made thousand of people aware of his researches and findings. Consequently, every gathering saw hundreds of aspirants. Though most of the people wanted to get rid of diseases, physical or mental there were few who wanted to get rid of this vicious cycle of death and birth and attain the salvation. Another focus was to make people aware of their life and the goal of life and this involved many youngsters too. Overall it was a great time and it helped hundreds of people. Definitely the devotees in Canada played a crucial role in organising and managing all the events. Now its time to prepare for the grand event of Guru Purnima when the devotees from all corners of the world would reach Malke Ashram and receive blessing from Maharaj ji.
Divine is the true mother…
10-13 July, Oakville. Vaishno Devi Temple of Oakville conduct a series of lectures. The frist day Maharaj Ji also visited the temple considering persistent request of Naresh Bhardwaj Ji full of love and affection. Maharaj Ji taught the audience how to chant the mantra while breathing in also out. He explained that unless mantra is synchronised with the breath, it will not bear fruits. And the synchronisation would not be complete untill we can chant it with exhalation as well as with inhalation. He showed them the actual technique and made them practice it too. He said I offer everything I’ve learnt and researched but grasping and practicing it is your responsibility. He said you have been listening and reciting spiritual texts since ages but without the proper guidance and intense practice it is not possible to attain the liberation. The spiritual path may seem difficult to you but I say it is the easiest one as it is a straight path unlike the material world. Later Swami Ji and Sadhvi Ji also discussed various secrets of spiritual field and also answered questions of the seekers to help them guide inside. The temple society as well as the audience were so much inspired that they were demanding more time. They requested Swami Ji to allot a whole one week for the temple next year.
Why do we visit temples and why do we pray?
July 10, Brampton. The last lecture of Swami Ji & Sadhvi Ji at Hindu Sabha temple on 6th last tuesday was so inspiring that not only the general audience but the board members present there were also mesmerized. The talks touched their souls deeply so that they wanted more and more of it. Considering their ardent wish aspiration nod was given for another session on coming sunday. Due to the busy schedule and lots of visitors Sadhvi Ji could not be present there. In addition to the science and chanting technique of Omkar, Swami Ji discussed about the value and objective of temples in general. Swami Ji said that when like-minded people gather and focus on single thought then obviously that thought is strengthened and the resultant energy fills the whole atmosphere. Such a powerful atmosphere will be helpfull even for a novice to delve deep. This is why mass prayer is more effective. Moreover, in a temple when a statue is established with proper rituals which is called “Prana Pratishtha” then only it it charged and responds to the prayer. Similarly we need to establish Prana inside this body too which is the living temple of the God. This is possible when you have earnest desire to meet the divine and proper guidance of an enlightened master. Considering your spiritual desire and level of awareness master will empower you through initiation and then give you a seed mantra with proper technique. Regular and proper recitation of the mantra opens the hidden channles inside. As and when you advance to higher levels, the master or the Guru guides you further. Amongst all the chaos and turmoil of this world, temples are the place where we can sit quite and restore our spiritual energy to keep our focus fixed on the goal of life and learn to pray selflessly.
It is tough to be a child…
July 10, Burlington. Every year almost all the temples and cultural societies conduct special camps for children. The main objective is to make them aware of life and other values in general and also about their native culture. As these days kids in general are more focused on worldly attractions and personal acheivements, such camps are very crucial to make them realize the value of family, culture, religion and spirituality in life. In one of such camps Swami Suryendu Puri was also invited. He discussed these concepts in detail with children and their parents. In an interactive and jolly atmosphere various serious topics such as goal of life, true form of the God and various religious issues were talked about. Swami cautioned the kids that it is not easy to be a child as this is the age when you are easily lured by worldly attractions so you need to discriminate what is good and valuable for a happy life. Considering the fact that world is changing too fast there is a huge gap between the young and the old generations youngsters carry a great responsibility to keep a balance as they are still on receiving end and have greater flexibility. The old on the other hand have reached a state where it will be difficult for them to mold and adopt to new concepts. So one must keep this fact in mind while communicating with elders.
The discussion was very fruitful and all the youngsters as well as their parents participated actively. In the evening there was an arrangement for camp fire and that was used for Agni Kriya instead. The easy explaination and the simplicity of the technique was gladly accepted and appreciated by the participants. The chanting was so powerfull that another group of canadians who were camping nearby could not hold themselves back and eagerly rushed to the site of Agni Kriya. Mr. Patel & Mr. Bhatia of Vaishno Devi Temple were very active in organizing all these.
Every prayer is answered if only you could listen to it…
July 10, Woodbridge. Maharaj Ji was visiting Simmi & Shravan on the way back from Richmond Hills to bless and their family. Talking to people gathered there, Maharaj Ji stated that every prayer is answered but most of the time we don’t listen to it. We seek the answer outside but actually it is inside, deep inside the heart where our beloved God is residing.
Talk but to tackle the situation not the people
July 10, Richmond Hills. It was the house of Manoj-Rani Chaowdhary the new initiates of the ashram liniage, Maharaj Ji was paying a visit. There were many close disciples and devotees gathered at their house. It was a great opportunities for them to have a close encounter and get all their questions answered. While listening their questions and conversation Maharaj Ji suggested that one should not talk for the sake of talking but to resolve his doubts. Discussions will bear fruits only when you have mutual understanding and trust and above all, love. Otherwise, discussions will only add to your ego or hurt that. So if you really wanna lead a good life then purify your intentions before you open your mouth.
Temples are meant to remind us of our ultimate goal
July 6th, Brampton. It was tuesday and the Hindu Sabha Mandir was crowded with a great number of devotees. In canada generally tuesdays is the most busy day even more than sundays. Almost all the temples conduct Hanuman Chalisa recitation and Hanuman Aarti on this day. On such a busy day Swami Suryendu Puri & Sadhvi Yoganjali Chaitanya were also invited there for guiding the devotees on the inner path. They told that Hanuman Ji was a great Yogi and as his body was purified he was able to assimilate the pure energy of sunrays directly into his body. This provided him with great strength and finally made his body immortal. This fact is described in coded words in ramayana, hanuman chalisa and other scriptures which is a little difficult to interpret. But if one could delve deep inside or get proper guidance then it will not take him long to understand that Hanuman used his eyes to assimilate the sun, the source of light and energy. This is the concept which forms the base of Surya Kriya. And due to life giving property of Sun people gain enegy at physical-mental and spiritual levels which leads to complete health.
And thus concluded the Sun Meditation Camp
July 8, Brampton. Thanks to Ravinder Singh ‘Pannu’ and his team at Sur Sagar T.V. that helped creating awareness amongst indo-canadians. His programs brought aspirants from all around Toronto to the week long program of Surya Kriya here in Brampton. Lord Sun was very helpful and were shining throughout to provide us with fire (energy) and light. Hundreds of people approached first through telephone and then in person and almost all those attended the practice had the first hand experience of the solar healing. A lady ‘Karnail Kaur’ who is in late 70s was regularly coming to the camp and she was comforted with her hypertenssion and body-ache. In fact after many years she slept peacefully as due to tenssion and other problems she was dependant on sleeping pills for many years. Just one week of practice brought her the natural and sound sleep back. There were many cases of healing in body-ache, digestive disorders, poor eye-sight, migraine, hypertenssion (blood-pressure), joints pain, sleeping problem, mensus problems and also depression. Few spiritually aware people had different kind of experience related to kundalini. It was hard to conclude the camp as the number of particiapnts was growing and the number of phone calls were rising in multitude every day. Finally it was the Lord Sun who concluded the camp by taking leave on 9th and giving way to Lord Indra. Considering the grpwing demand Harman Kalirao of Brampton (647-802-0758) was deputed to conduct follow-up classes.
